QUT, Kelvin Grove: Impact Lab Design Intensive

As a project in collaboration with Studio THI, we responded to their brief seeking ways to include, inform and prepare key target audiences in the rapid urbanisation of their local communities. Our proposed brief was to consider ways to inform, involve, and prepare members of communities of their local changes. 

Out of the target audiences outlined, we focused on how we might engage busy families and their young children. Our idea centred around moments of spare time for children to interact with the surrounding environment in a safe and educational way. Through an augmented reality map that doubles as a treasure adventure that informs them on the upcoming changes in their area in a visual and easy to understand way.
